Cleveland Browns team survived last after losing the fourth quarter on Sunday. Hit the Carolina Panthers kicker John Casey, three field goals during the game, but could not put the ball between the uprights on the final play of the game clock expired and brown, which was held in winning 24-23.
Win also gives Brown first with Jake Delhomme as novices, as he did not start since the opening loss of the season in Tampa Bay because of an ankle injury and the emergence of rookie Colt McCoy.
With McCoy on the sidelines suffering from the same injury, Delhomme and the other player, Seneca Wallace, and the work was Delhomme to beat his former team.
Peyton Hillis did all he could to help Delhomme struggled, and scored three landing in the first half only, and Brown became the third player of all time to be at least 11 rushing scores in a single season. It was almost of the effort was not enough, however, as Carolina scored 16 points and got the answer to lead 23-21 as the game wound down.
Delhomme kept his poise, even after throwing two interceptors in the first two attempts from the beginning of the second half, and set up Phil Dawson of the forward – 41 – Going yard field goal which proved to be the difference maker.
Carolina player was rookie Jimmy Clausen not go out without a fight though. Despite a season without a level until now, Clausen led the Panthers down the field to prepare a field goal attempt, John Casey, with five seconds left. Casey had been split uprights already in 42.43, and 43 yards, so the game 42 yards to try to win the Cleveland fans believing their team was at the last second loss of the past.
Kick suspended in the air, however, and Clanked out of the left and the last was not good, and let Clevelanders to take a deep breath and be thankful to improve for 4-7. Carolina fell to the NFL worst 10-10 with the loss.
Brown faced a competitive people, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, a similar feeling during the twelfth week of the election campaign in 2010. Facing the bad, and confident after (after winning two in a row), Buffalo (2-9) team, the Steelers came away winning 19-16 in overtime.
The dawn of Pittsburgh, 13 percent in the second half, and lead and allowed Buffalo kicker Ryan Lindell to sink 49 – yarder with just two seconds remaining to send the game in stoppage time in 16 each. There was behind the Steelers and 150 meters from the rush Rashard Mendenhall, and newly acquired Shaun Suisham hit a field goal 41 yards to give the Pittsburgh win 19-16.
The Minnesota Vikings are able to start in the era after Brad Childress with the win, giving the interim coach Leslie Frazier, his first as head coach. Vikings improve to 4-7 after beating Washington 17-13.
Despite losing star running back Adrian Peterson to injury, and Minnesota was able to keep the return of the Indian Red. Brett Favre sealed run for ten yards near the end of the game to win. Yes, you heard it to work correctly, Favre for ten yards.
In Houston, Texas Dawn of the Tennessee Titans in the game Fist – contraction – literally. The Houston wide receiver Andre Johnson and Tennessee cornerback Cortland Finnegan both exploded after the expulsion of each helmet off and threw punches in the fourth quarter.
Finnegan was probably a little frustrated, and his team was completely closed in the loss. A big reason for the eggs on the scoreboard to contribute to the on Chris Johnson’s awful. After leading the NFL in a single season by rushing, Johnson ran for five, yes five, seven yards on a Sunday.
In the NFC Championship preview as possible, and to improve the Atlanta Falcons to the NFL best 9-2 with 20-17 win over the mobilization of Green Bay. The loss of three points gives Green Bay lost its fourth field goal of the season.
With the loss of Green Bay, Chicago took sole possession of first place in the NFC North with a 31-26 win at Philadelphia, improved to 8-3. Jay Cutler was also made on outstanding for a period of four degrees, did not attend the ball over. The loss of Philadelphia is the first since the return of Michael Vick surprising. Eagles remain in the playoff hunt in the 7-4.
Best player of the week: =
Cutler gave Bear fans something like this season – - QB Jay Cutler (Chi) good football. Cutler threw 247 yards on 14 – - 21 passers-by, and scored four landing and not to throw any picks. Cutler and the line was a good passer rating of 146.2 near perfection.
Disappointment of the week: =
Tennessee Titans offense – zero. Three shifts. 24 yards rushing. 20 minutes of possession. Great. In the performance of perhaps the worst of a single unit throughout the season, the Titans should at least be thankful this game is not at home or may be refunded all ticket sales because of this poor performance. Chris Johnson had seven rushes for five yards terrible, and the player Rusty Smith had 138 yards passing, without landing and three objections.
Defender of the Week: =
Quinn was a menace to the Titans on Sunday – CB Glover Quinn (Hui). There is a big reason why Tennessee offense was shut down, and addresses the four Quinn, and five passes defended. This is not the cause of his prize, however. Quinn formed for all three of objection delivered Rusty Smith.
