War Eagle

Glendale, AZ (WLOX) – I can not believe I’m in Arizona on my way to the game BCS national championship. But more than that, I can not believe my Auburn Tigers play on the national title!
For those of you who do not know, I’m an avid Auburn fan. Auburn is the place prepared for this life as a journalist, but more importantly than that, it’s amazing where I met my husband, John. Together and we fell in love with each other and life on the finest village in the plains. Go out and we’re both in 2003, but continue to do trips to our Alma Mater, whenever possible. Auburn will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Now, we are investigating the trip of a lifetime to watch the play of our beloved Tigers in their first national championship game since 1957. Auburn has produced some of the greatest legends – such as Pat Sullivan, Bo Jackson, and now Cameron Newton.
This guy is amazing to watch live. As with many things, television just does not give him justice. We saw during the game and Arkansas in October, and was blown away completely. We expect to see much more in Arizona.
Should be an interesting match up, but of course, I am optimistic there will be ducks game and tigers of the camera.
To all fellow Auburn fans, War Eagle! I know a bunch of you will be gathering on Monday night Biloxi Yacht Club to watch the game. I hope to be there with you, but instead I’ll be cheering on the orange and blue, waving my shaker like crazy from the University of Phoenix Stadium.
I can not wait to share this experience with you. Check back with WLOX.com later today for more updates from the back door of the largest party in the history of college!
